Banana Bread

I got this recipe from Cassie, which she got from Albertsons

8 Tbs (1 stick) butter at room temperature
3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c whole wheat flour
3 large ripe bananas, smashed
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c shelled walnuts, coarsely chopped (opt)

1- Preheat over 350 degrees, grease 9x5x3" bread pan.
2- Cream butter, sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3- Sift flour, baking soda, salt together, stir in whole wheat flour and add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
4- Fold in bananas, vanilla, and walnuts.
5- Pour mixture into pan, bake 50-60 min. or untill cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 min, then on rack.
