Got this from "Good Housekeeping" magazine - tried it tonight - it was delicous (at least for those of us who like shrimp which is only three of us)
1 cup brown rice
3 tsp. Asian Sesame Oil
1 1/2 lbs asaragus cut into 1" pieces
1 lb shrimp, peeled and devined
1 T. fresh ginger grated
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. lime juice
1/4 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves thinly sliced
1. Cook rice according to package directions
2. Heat two tsp. sesame oil on med. heat. Add asparagus and cook 7-8 min. until tender crisp, stirring occasionally.
3. Add shrimp and ginger. Cook 5 minutes until shrimp is opaque.
4. Stir in soy sauce, lime, basil and remaining sesame oil.
5. Serve over rice.
Yummy. . . I love ginger and basil.
